Here is an odd thought for your consideration.
The eyes have seen seven decades.
Even two centuries look the same.
They paid witness to the passing from one millennium to other.
Yet, only fifty-two years have passed.

Dennis, It sounds like one of those cryptic riddles sage men utter in fables of yore. I guess it’s good that one millennium looks the same as another and that we didn’t all self-destruct at Y2K. ; )

(53 this year, but not yet…7 decades since 1950s, inclusive to 2010s. Felt much the same before and after Y2K…did I parse that right?).

Well done. I’ll have to post about Y2K. It was very different for me.
